As this occurs, the dark blood vessels beneath the skin become more visible, and dark under-eye circles appear.

Sun overexposure

Leave it for around 20 minutes to help to reduce dark under-eye circles.

Get extra sleep

One of the easiest ways to get rid of dark under-eye circles is to catch up on sleep. Sleep deprivation is one of the main causes of dark circles under the eyes, so we recommend you sleep enough in order to keep your skin healthy and glowing.

Elevate your head

Sleep deprivation may cause dark under-eye circles, but sometimes, the lack of sleep is not the only reason for dark bags under the eyes. Sometimes, it is more about how you sleep. Yes, the way your body is positioned in the bed can cause dark circles in the area under the eyes. In order to prevent such a thing, we recommend you elevate your head with a few pillows. That will prevent fluid from pooling under the eyes.

Stay hydrated

Drinking a lot of water is essential not only for your health but for your skin too. Try to drink a lot of water during the day, and if not possible, other fluids can help keep you hydrated. Milk, tea, and juices are only a few of the fluids that will help you stay hydrated during the day. Eating more vegetables and fruits also adds to your overall fluid intake.

Soak with tea bags

One way to get rid of dark under-eye circles is to soak the area with a tea bag. This is a beauty trick that you must try.  Tea contains caffeine and antioxidants that help stimulate blood circulation, shrink blood vessels and reduce the liquid buildup under the skin. Take two bags of green or black tea and soak them in hot water for 5 minutes. Then, chill them in the refrigerator for around 15 to 20 minutes. When they are cold enough, apply the tea bags to your closed eyes for 10 to 20 minutes. Remove them and rinse your eyes with cool water. You will soon see the dark under-eye circles disappear.

Try eye creams

Today, you may find so many eye creams on the market that can help you get rid of dark circles under the eyes. They reduce the look of dark circles and at the same time they smooth the skin around your eyes.

Conceal with makeup

One of the most effective ways to hide dark under-eye circles is to cover them with makeup. Concealers in the same color as your skin can cover them so that they are not noticeable at first sight. However, take care to use the appropriate makeup so that you avoid irritations and allergic reactions.
